Playing Catch Up: Mr. Kitty

One of our favorite photo subjects is the elusive Mr. Kitty. She's our adorable cat who hates everyone except Hassan. But she likes having her ego stroked and manages to somehow tolerate having her photo taken.

The uninterested look.

"Are you talking to me?"

Playing Catch Up: Birthday Dinner

In February, we visited Flip Burger Boutique for Hassan's birthday. Luckily, our flight attendant friend Emily was in town as well as a few other of our friends who we don't get to see as much as we'd like. The food was all right, but at least the company was great. :)
Here's some of the photos from that night:

Me and the birthday boy. And I was rocking Maria's fedora. Thanks Maria!

The spectacular Emily and my college friend Baron. I'm so glad they could make it.

Our hilarious friend Hiroki and the lovely Tina. Thanks for hanging out guys!

Playing Catch Up: Snowy Portraits

During our recent snow in Atlanta, we finally got around to taking some portraits of ourselves. We have very few photos of just the two of us, and these turned out great.
Here's some of the better photos:

Snowball fight!

Cheesy footprints photo.

In front of the cars in the back of our apartment complex.

Devious looks. We're scheming.

This pic shows our shared love of Chucks.

And this is my favorite. We managed to get some photos while it was still snowing. :)

Playing Catch Up: Savannah Trip

The first few months of 2009 have been hectic, so it's been tough to keep up with the blog. But this past week we had a little time to go through all the photos we've taken recently and process them. So now I have to play a little catch up. :)
In January, we took our first trip to Savannah, GA. I'm ashamed to say that this was my first trip to the beautiful city. And it was exactly that — gorgeous. We stayed at the River Street Inn, which was surprisingly comfortable and beautiful on the interior. Not to mention it was in a great central location.
Most of our photos were of the city's impressive and historical architecture. We took a trolley tour, and here's some of the striking things we saw throughout the city:

The street view from the window of our hotel room. We stayed right on the river!
For lunch we went to Vic's On the River, one of the historical restaurants in downtown. This is a pretty view from our table.

Vic's On The River piano player.

Me on the bottom floor of our hotel. I loved the great staircases.

This is from our trolley tour. These are some old mill buildings that were bought and refurbished by the Savannah College of Art and Design.

This is a crazy set of stairs behind our hotel. They were really steep, but made for an interesting picture.

Another trolley tour photo. This is a great church in one of the historical downtown districts.

This is a pub in downtown. I love the red phone booth.

This was in the more industrial part of town.
